Apertivo at Ganzo
Ganzo, the student-run restaurant at Florence University of the Arts, has its busiest night on Wednesdays, when the restaurant prepares aperitivo. For the general crowd, they prepare typical Florentine appetizers, but special guests are chosen to sit at Table 21, where they are served unique dishes created by one of the student chefs. This night, Table 21 was served apertifs all related to seafood. Two of these dishes are highlighted on the right. The photo of the chefs was taken in ambient light, and the photos of the dishes used an additional key light.

Dickinson's Lemon Curd - I used three point lighting, this time using a yellow gel on the key light along with two soft boxes to give the photo a warm and soft yellow tone that matches the company’s packaging and aesthetics.
For the Spindrift image, I used three- point lighting along with a light under the can to add depth.

Recent graduate Grace makes and serves a sandwich at local restaurant Beezer’s, a favorite stop for UofSC students. This shoot was very fun, as I wanted to capture her in her workplace that defined her college years (1/2).

Portrait of Sloan, taken in the photo studio. I used three-point lighting, with blue and red gels over softbox lights to create a soft, multi-colored image. I used another softbox light on a dim setting as the key light to illuminate her features without color, but still keep the soft light I wanted.
